Can it be a rivalry after just four games?

It sure seems like it can in Seattle and Houston's case. Check out the letter Stuart Holden sent to Houston fans:

He's "sick" of hearing that Seattle is the best soccer city in the USA. Sure, he talks about how much you "have to respect" them, but it comes off as sincere as when a teenage girl says "no offense" just before telling her BFF that her ass is too big.

It may have been 0-0, but it was the best game of week one of the MLS playoffs. I expect the second leg could be even better.

I agree with Stuart Holden. I'm sick of the talk of Seattle's fans too.

This is great. MLS needs more of this. Yes, I'm serious.

If Holden issued this release of his own accord, then I have no real issue with it. But it kind of seems a little bush-league, when the players are promoting the game rather than the club itself in the media.

You would think with the kind of past success the Dynamo have had, they would have no problem selling tickets for this match.

@ marc,

they aren't Seattle, so they are using Seatlle to get more attention to the game. Remember Houston has only been ther for 4 years and I think the league needs more hate in their rivalries. Nothing feels better than beating the team, ManU, Real, Barca, Juve and in just one year Seattle is quickly becoming that team in the MLS.
