The U.S. announced its roster for upcoming friendlies against Slovakia Saturday and Denmark a week Wednesday. Interestingly, and as we speculated on It's Called Football a week ago today, Jeff Cunningham is getting another look.
It will be his first appearance in the U.S. set-up since 2005.
There is a significant MLS presence in the line-up, which may surprise some here in Canada that view playing in MLS as the equivalent of trotting out for the Cyprus second division. That said, on a quick glance, there is an element of a "bubble roster" to the group -- these are a lot of guys that are fighting for their spot in South Africa.
