This man is not.

Not that Canada did anything to deserve it, but it is a bit, um, something to look at New Zealand's path to South Africa and compare it to basically anyone else. While CONCACAF teams were dealing with hostile crowds in Latin America, the Kiwis were in Vanuatu (where they somehow allowed a bloody goal).
That said, good luck to Andrew Boyens. Anyone that played on the 2007 Toronto FC back-line deserves a few breaks in life.

Sorry, I dunno how you can complain considering that every WCQ cycle their WC life is going to be dependent on a home and home series, and the confederation they face rotates, so next WCQ cycle they are going to face a team from south america.
True. Congrats to the All-Whites. Hell, Canada could have been in the same position in 2008 but we shat the bed then too and Trinidad got to play Bahrain in the home and home.
As usual, Canada has nobody to blame but themselves for their failures.
Duane, we must also point out that the stadium in NZ looked fantastic in terms of home support. Next time around at BMO this will be us... I hope.
Maybe Canada should switch to the Oceania confederation, like Australia moved to Asia. We are a Pacific nation, after all...
