What do you mean in the Eritrean part? I have a lot of Eritrean friends and I am a Canadian of Ethiopian desent.
This is very common in Ethiopia and Eritrea. Soccer Players, Singers etc. leave the horn of Africa for a better life. My uncle played in a tournament in USA for the EMNT (Ethiopian, not Eritrea) and diched the hotel with teammates.
Funny, only runners want to stay in Ethiopia because they are loved by gold-medel loving fans.
Well, there was that time we lost Julian De Guzman, but it turned out he had just passed out at a club in Montreal.
