Nolly re-ups with Van City

That the Whitecaps are re-signing players (and that players are willing to sign with the Whitecaps) would seem like a good indication that they are confident in Vancouver that there will, in fact, be a league to play in next year.

Jay Nolly, he of stand-on-his-head-and-ruin-TFC-fans-Canada-Day-in-2008 fame, has signed a standard one year plus option deal with the Whitecaps. It would appear that the 'Caps have Nolly in their sights to stick with them when they make the jump to MLS in 2011.

Information we've received regarding the USSF's decision on the TOA's NASL 2.0 application is that it's still "a ways away."
