A pretty new stadium (and a lingering doubt)

Many may have seen this already, but via Grant Wahl's Twitter stream a look into Red Bull Arena.

It sure is pretty. And, I suspect, the home of this year's MLS Cup final.

The arena is scheduled to officially open March 20 with a game between Santos and the Red Bulls. There is a significant alumnus of both Santos and professional soccer in NYC that many expect to possibly make an appearance (likely not on the pitch, but one just never knows in this crazy little world).

That is if it happens. In many ways the players might want to consider using this game as a pressure point. If they don't, one would be fair to wonder if the players are ever going to really put the pressure on.
